Description:  The Haitian Revolution began with an uprising of enslaved people to fight against French colonial rule in Saint Domingue (present-day Haiti) for freedom and equality. As the conflict developed, France and European powers, along with different factions within the colony, became involved, creating a complex struggle over independence, sovereignty, and human rights. During the event, delegates will navigate military conflicts, shifting alliances, diplomacy, economic pressures, and questions of slavery, independence, and sovereignty, while making critical decisions that could alter the course of the revolution and determine Saint Domingue's future.
